In 2010, NorthStar purchased and then demolished nine properties near 49th and Sprague/Sahler Streets to prepare the way for the construction of a new boys only after-school facility. Once the old was cleared away, room now exists for a new vision to flourish. These renderings show what we expect our after-school campus to look like once it’s completed in Summer 2014. The NorthStar facility will be located within seven minutes of 11 elementary schools, three middle schools, and three high schools. This will give us the ability to help more than 1,300 young male students graduate and positively impact their communities.
